Go!

by Carol S Robinson

When I sit an talk to God,

He speaks back to me.

I give Him all my broken dreams;

He gives me poetry.

When I tell Him of my pain,

He says, “Yes, my child, I know.”

He takes me in His tender arms,

And says, “I love you so.”

He's given me so many gifts;

He gives me all I need.

He tells me, “Go! Tell all the world.

And plant a little seed.”

Tell them of My love for you,

And I want them to know..

Tell them that I love them too;

I'll cause that seed to grow.

Go into the world, my child,

Because I've chosen you;

Go! Tell them if they come to me,

I want to choose them, too.

Available to all the world,

To all who've gone astray,

All the gifts He's given me

Can be yours today!

A Choice

Every day I have a choice of what I'll do and what I'll say.

Will I choose the mind of Christ, or will I choose another way?

Every day I have a choice of how I follow Jesus' plan.

Will I choose to love another or abuse my fellow man?

Every day I have a choice of what my mind will dwell upon.

Will I think about God's Word and the things that I have done?

Will I ask for Him to change me and forgive me of my sin,

Or try to make Him fit into what I want to think of Him?

Every day I have a choice.

How much will I give of me?

Will I live in doubt today, or simply choose to believe?

Will I choose to trust in Him and let The Spirit fill me up,

Or let the doubt that fills the world empty out my blessing cup?

In your will Lord, I have chosen to follow you, to hear your voice,

In your power, by your Spirit, 'cause every day I have a choice!
