Who am I? Who He is?
I am a believer. By that, I mean that any principle I read in the Bible, I believe. I believe that the Word is infallible, although I can be fallible in my interpretation of it. I believe God has been speaking to me since November 11, 1970, when I got saved. My main gifts are faith and prophecy. I am 69 years old and though that means my body is beginning to break down and I cannot do everything I once could, I still am strong and have been given a direction for my life. I expect that, I mean for the rest of my mortal life, will be another 30 years or more (since my mother is now 97 and still independent) unless the Lord comes sooner. In either case, I believe I shall live forever as part of the blood-bought Bride of Christ. I have a Master of Theology degree in Christian Counseling and a Doctor of Divinity from Summit Bible College in Bakersfield, California. I joke and say, "Just call me Doctor Carol". This education has been invaluable as I, for the first time in my Christian walk, know what God wants me to do. I retired from years of teaching young children, first preschool, then elementary. My BA is in child development. I still tutor and I am on the school board, but my heart is in proclaiming the Word to the world to prepare for the return of Christ to claim His Bride, The Church. Who is the Church? Anyone who believes in the work that God the Father performed on this earth through the sacrifice of His only begotten Son. Who is the Son? He is Jesus: Who was in the beginning and all things were made by Him, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life as a fully human man, suffered and died as a sacrifice for all the sins of mankind, was resurrected, walked on this earth after His resurrection as witnessed by more than 500 people, was taken up to heaven and now sits at the right hand of His Father, making intercession for us. He sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us who believe and therefore since He lives inside of me, and He teaches me everything.
